Miss Sienna Poppet
This is Sienna. She's a beautiful, one-of-a-kind handmade doll.
She loves summer and going for longs walks with her terrier, Tavish - though he does seem to get tired very quickly, and she often ends up having to carry him in her straw bag!
She’s part of florie and millie's 2023 Heirloom Collection, featuring exquisite clothing and the finest craftsmanship that reflect the essence of traditional artistry. Each of my heirloom dolls is lovingly crafted by me with exceptional care and attention to detail, ensuring that she is not only beautiful but also a cherished lifetime treasure. Each of these dolls is one-of-a-kind and yours alone.
Sienna is unique, with every element handmade by me. Just like an old-fashioned vintage cloth doll she’s handcrafted from seeded calico and her hair is made from wool yarn. But as with everything old that’s made new again, she’s been crafted to a higher standard of refinement. The details on her face are embroidered and hand-coloured. She’s wearing pretty muslin overalls and a breezy cotton jersey top - just perfect for warm summer days. And she doesn’t leave home, come rain or shine , without her sturdy leather walking boots! No girl should be without a pair! Her little dog, Tavish, is needle felted from wool roving and her bag has been crocheted in raffia straw. And all handmade by me.
Sienna stands about 46 cm tall and would make the perfect gift for a grown-up child all the way through to those who are just young at heart. Please note that her clothing and accessories have been constructed with small fasteners and parts and would not be suitable for infants, toddlers or young children.
